Tips on Using Puretan Products

Wax and Shave

At least 24hrs before tanning. Broken and raw skin is a common cause of a patchy tan.

Exfoliate and Moisturise

The night before. The most common cause of a patchy tan is dry skin. Problem areas such as wrists and hands, elbows, knees, ankles and feet should be moisturised immediately prior to self tan application.

Apply tan with tanning mitts

Try using our Puretan Pro application mitt when applying your tan. Using our mitt not only protects your palms from staining but also ensures an even coverage.

Do not to shower for at least an hour

When using Pure Bronze lotions and foams you may shower after one hour. But for deeper, longer lasting results (or when using Pure Bronze instant tanning spray) wait for 4-6 hours.

Moisturise daily

Prolongs the life of your tan and ensures it will fade much more evenly.
